Johnny Cash was everywhere when I was growing up. We had albums, he was on the radio, TV, movies! It's fair to say that I wanted to be like Johnny Cash and I do a lot of his songs. This song is my tribute to him. For me, the key line is "the strength in his voice, still echoes in my mind".
